  • 8/17-8/19 Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show

    Then August 17th through the 19th, the Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show will take place at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Grounds in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The show has become a huge event, featuring exhibitors, monster trucks, show trucks, music, food and more. Several parts of the event benefit local charities.

  • 8/19-8/20 Chi-Town Large Cars Lucky 13 Benefit and Show

    The Chi-Town Large Cars Lucky 13 Benefit and Show is scheduled for August 17th through the 19th at the Porter County Fairgrounds in Valparaiso, Indiana. Show trucks, classic cars, music and more are featured, as well as family carnival rides. Proceeds go to Shriners Children’s Hospitals.

  • 8/23-8/25 The Great American Trucking Show

    August 23rd through the 25th are the dates for the Great American Trucking Show, taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas. The event, the second largest trade show in the industry, includes numerous exhibitors, educational seminars, an indoor show truck competition and a concert.

    Satellite parking with food, showers and portable restrooms is available at the far side of the State Fair of Texas, about 3 miles east. Shuttle service is available to and from the show. Other events include the Roadhouse Run to benefit the St. Christopher Fund and the Trucker Talent Search.

  • 9/1-9/30 American Truck Historical Society chapter shows for September

    Chapters of the American Truck Historical Society have several events scheduled in September.

    The Palmetto Upstate Chapter Fall Show takes place Sept. 1st and 2nd, in conjunction with the Dacusville Heritage Association Family Farm Days in Easley, South Carolina.

    The 17th Annual Rocky Mountain Chapter Truck Show will happen September 8th at the Art Robinson Transport Museum in Salina, Utah.

    The 48th Annual LaGrange Engine Show and Northeast Ohio Chapter Show takes place at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio.

    The San Juan Chapter 14th Annual Classic Truck and Vehicle Show takes place September 14th through the 16th at Riverside Park in Aztec, New Mexico.

    The Blue Mountain Chapter Truck Show is September 15th at the Fort Walla Walla Museum in Walla Walla, Washington.

    The Tri State Truck Show is scheduled for September 20th to the 22nd at the fairgrounds in Clear Brook, Virginia.

    And the Metro Jersey Chapter Fall Show is set for September 30th at Skylands Stadium in Augusta, New Jersey.

  • 9/7-9/8 Big Iron Classic

    The Big Iron Classic Truck Show and Charity Drive takes place September 7th and 8th at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Kasson, Minnesota. The event features show trucks, live entertainment and a truck pull. Also, participants will take part in a Parade of Big Rigs through the nearby town of Mantorville, and a light show.

  • 9/14-9/16 Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show

    The 23rd annual Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show will take place September 14th through the 16th in St. Ignace, Michigan. In addition to show trucks and classic cars, the event features one of the most beautiful sights in the industry, the Parade of Lights over the Mackinac Bridge.

  • 9/15-9/15 World’s Largest Convoy – Arkansas

    The Arkansas leg of the World’s Largest Truck Convoy – a benefit for Special Olympics – will take place September 15th at Maverick Transportation in North Little Rock. Trucks need to arrive between 8 and 9:30 a.m., with the convoy departing at 10 a.m. A lunch, live auction, speeches and other events will follow.

  • 9/15-9/15 World’s Largest Convoy – Paris, Ontario

    Paris, Ontario, will be the site for a Canadian World’s Largest Truck Convoy on September 15th. The convoy will depart from the Paris Fairgrounds, with a celebration there afterward. A classic car show will also take place at the fairgrounds the night before the convoy.

  • 9/15-9/15 World’s Largest Convoy – Greater Toronto Area

    A second Canadian Special Olympics convoy takes place in the greater Toronto area on September 15th as well. Trucks will gather at the Powerade Centre, with a celebration to follow the convoy, with lunch, awards, entertainment and more.

    Montana will conduct its World’s Largest Truck Convoy event September 16th at the TA in Laurel.

  • 9/21-9/22 World’s Largest Convoy – South Dakota Part I

    The first of two South Dakota World’s Largest Truck Convoy events takes place September 21st and 22nd at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. A dinner, poker tournament and light show are set for Friday, with registration starting at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The convoy leaves at 10:15 a.m., with a lunch and other events to follow.

  • 9/22-9/22 World’s Largest Convoy – Nova Scotia

    September 22nd is the date for the World’s Largest Truck Convoy in Nova Scotia. Truckers gather starting at 7 a.m. at a hanger at DND Sharewater in Dartmoth. The convoy departs at 10 a.m. Lunch, games and music will all be part of a celebration after the convoy.

  • 9/28-9/29 World’s Largest Convoy – South Dakota Part II

    The second Special Olympics benefit convoy in South Dakota takes place September 28th and 29th at Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City. Music, games and a light show are planned for Friday, with registration starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, and the convoy leaving at 10 a.m., with lunch to follow.

  • 9/28-9/29 Guilty By Association Truck Show

    September 28th and 29th are the dates for the 10th annual Guilty By Association Truck Show at Four State Trucks in Joplin, Missouri. The event is a “no-pressure” competition open to all large trucks, with awards give out primarily for People’s Choice. Exhibitor are scattered throughout the site, with events like truck burnouts through both days. A truck pull takes place on site Friday night, and Saturday, the Missouri World’s Largest Truck Convoy will take off from Four State Trucks and travel to downtown Joplin for a light show, street party and concert. That concert will feature the band Confederate Railroad. Also featured during the event are big rig burnouts, shop tours and a motorcycle stunt rider show. And don’t forget to stop by the Spirit of the American Trucker while you’re there. I’ll be there with Jon, along with our producer Barry Spillman, but we all know everyone is actually stopping by to see Sassy.

    The South Carolina Special Olympics benefit will take place September 29th at the South Carolina State Farmer’s Market in West Columbia. Registration opens at 8 a.m. with the convoy rolling at 10. A lunch, music, games and more will follow.

    October 6th is the date for the convoy benefitting Special Olympics in Iowa. Truckers will meet at Veterans Parkway and travel to the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. Registration starts at 8 a.m., with the convoy taking off at 10:30. A celebration will follow.

    The Women in Trucking Accelerate! Conference and Expo is scheduled for November 12th through the 14th at  the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco Hotel Convention Center near Dallas, Texas. The event features a trade show and more than 30 business and improvement seminars, as well as the announcement of the organization’s Most Influential Woman in Trucking Award winner.
